Multifunction printers such as the Canon MP237 are ideal for small business and home needs. That's because it's a printer, copier, and scanner all in one, so it's cheaper than buying all three separately.
MFPs are not only more cost-effective, but also less cumbersome to install and maintain, as there is only one user-managed device. It does not require much space for placement and maintenance is more practical.
Interesting features of the Canon MP237
Print resolution is expressed in dpi units (dots per inch) and pixel resolution is expressed in ppi units (pixels per inch). Both consist of two elements: vertical resolution and horizontal resolution.
Both types of resolution are formed from colored dots. The dots on the screen are computer-generated digital dots, and each dot is called a pixel. In printed documents, these dots are produced from ink droplets and each dot is called a dot.
For the Canon MP237, the highest selectable horizontal resolution is 4800 dpi and vertical resolution is 1200 dpi. The smallest ink dot a printer can produce to produce these resolutions is 2 pl at relatively normal speeds.
This speed is about 4.81 ipm for full color documents, 7 ipm for documents printed with black ink only, and 40 seconds to process a 4 x 6 inch photo.
As for the scanning capabilities also found on the Canon MP237, available scanning resolutions range from 25 dpi to 19200 dpi with 8-bit output for 16-bit grayscale input and 24-bit output for 48-bit color input.
The Canon MP237 scans at 1.1 ms per line for grayscale scans and 3.4 ms for color scans when scanned at a resolution of 300 dpi. Indirectly, the results of this test show that the colors in your document are one of the factors that determine whether the process is fast.

On the other hand, the Canon MP237 also has a maximum document copy speed of 1.81 ipm with an ESAT score and 30 seconds with an FCOT score.
The above scores are by no means absolute. However, print, scan and copy speeds will vary depending on paper size, document content, high and low resolution selected, active print or scan mode, document type, etc.
The numbers above serve only as a comparison to help consumers choose which printer to purchase. In this case, the consumer should also ensure that the speed numbers listed on the spec page for the selected printer are scores derived from methods based on ISO/IEC standards.
